bayou born co. was inspired by family, memory, and heritage. mykel fell in love with mixing and formulating as a child, sparked by a family member’s oil blends, and later discovered a connection to her lineage — elijah mccoy, the legendary black inventor known for creating oil lubrication systems and the origin of the phrase “the real mccoy.” each handcrafted oil is designed to warm with your natural chemistry, revealing your unique scent while honoring legacy, care, and creation.

delivery + returns.
due to the nature of our products, all sales are final once shipped. however, if your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 3 days of delivery with photos, and we’ll gladly replace or resolve the issue.
we cannot accept returns of opened or used products for health and safety reasons.
orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase, as long as they have not been shipped. once your order has been packaged or shipped, it cannot be canceled or refunded.
